My name is Daniel, I am 31 years old and I´am from Cologne (Germany). For a year now I have been dealing with scrapbooking and card design. I hope that my blog will give you some cool inspirations about card design. You can also find my cards and craft ideas on Instagram and Facebook.

Who doesn’t like to get a happy mail?

By that I don’t mean the annual statement from the municipal utility company or unsolicited advertising. How nice it was back then when you got a card from your grandparents, aunt, friends or other family members for every occasion. However, since Facebook or WhatsApp exists, people prefer to use eCards or emojis, which usually do not contain their own or personal touch. Making cards is a lot of fun and great fun, especially if you send them out afterwards.

When you make cards imagine that you are a painter standing in front of a canvas and gradually completing it with blots and strokes to a great picture. I hope that I can give you some inspiration on my blog. Because no matter which design you choose, simple or complicated, just do it as you have time, because crafting should make fun!

Mein Name ist Daniel, ich bin 31 Jahre alt und komme aus der Nähe von Köln (Deutschland). Seit gut einem Jahr beschäftige ich mich mit Basteln und der Kartengestaltung. Ich hoffe, dass ich Euch mit meinem Blog ein paar coole Inspirationen rund um die Kartengestaltung geben. Meine Karten und Bastelideen findet ihr auch auf Instagram und Facebook. 

Wer bekommt nicht gerne mal einen Brief?

Damit meine ich nicht die Jahresabrechnung von den Stadtwerken oder unaufgeforderte Werbung. Wie schön war es damals, als man zu jedem Anlass noch eine Karte von den Großeltern, der Tante,  Freunden oder sonstigen Familienangehörigen erhielt. Seit es jedoch Facebook oder WhatsApp gibt, greift man lieber mal auf eCards oder Emojis zurück, die meist keine eigene oder persönliche Note enthält. Dabei macht das Basteln von Karten viel Spaß und bereitet zudem große Freude, besonders wenn man sie anschließend verschickt.

Wenn ihr Karten bastelt stellt Euch vor, dass ihr ein Maler seid, der vor einer Leinwand steht und diese nach und nach mit Klecksen und Strichen zu einem tollen Bild vervollständigt. Ich hoffe, dass ich Euch auf meinem Blog noch die eine oder andere Inspiration geben kann. Denn egal für welches Design ihr Euch entscheidet, sei es einfach oder kompliziert, macht es einfach so wie ihr Zeit, Lust und Laune habt.
