Altenew Craft-A-Flower: Sweet Violet Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello crafty friends,

Today Altenew is releasing this amazing Craft a Flower Sweet Violet Set. I can’t tell you how much I love to use layering dies to create some amazing projects. It makes it just so easy to add shadows and make it look so realistic. I had so much fun creating this card. As well as I used some different products to create this flower. You will find a step by step below.

This time I wanted to try something different to create my card. For my flowers I used leather (also called in Spain Ecopiel). It was sooo fun to create this bright flower using the different colours of leather. And the cool thing is that you can use them on both sides and the colours are different. I bought them from a spanish shop called Scrap y mucho mas. For my background I used an black A2 panel and added some white stripes about 1 inch wide. That way my colours would pop up a bit more with the black and white background. Also for my sentiment I used black and white cardstock, so I got my focal point on my Sweet Violet.
