Waffle Flower August Challenge
Hello my crafty friends and welcome to my creative blog. Today I will show you how I made this fun panda card for the WaffleFlower Weekly Challenge.
This weeks challenge was to use any supply out of our kitchen. At first I was a bit scared cause I did not know what to use, but when you start looking around your kitchen you find so many things you could use to craft and create some amazing projects. When I saw these sticks that we normally use for meat or fruits I thought about this cute Panda Die I have from Waffle Flower. I thought it would be fun to create a bamboo background using the sticks.

So enough said, let’s jump over to the step by step.
To create my card I started by cutting all the sticks down to 4 1/4 inches so they would fit on a card panel. To adhere all the sticks I used some liquide glue.
I tried to keep the panda quit simple as the background is very busy with all the sticks. So I just used black and white cardstock and added some rosy cheeks . I also wanted to add some greenery behind the panda to give it some dimension.
The sentiment is from the set “ Sentiment Additions Combo“ … I love sentiments with coordinating dies, they always look awesome on a card.
