Altenew Build-A-Flower: Fashion Monger Dahlia Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello my crafty friends and welcome to another Altenew Build A Flower Release Blog Hop.

This month Altenew is releasing the Fashion Monger Dahlia.

Want to make a bold statement on your handmade cards? The Fashion Monger Dahlia is the flower for you! This set features one six-layer flower and two three-layer leaves. The leaves have a delicate and lacy feel to them to help you achieve a richer look on your projects. The included sentiments feature a gorgeous pairing of fonts to accompany your floral creations.

For my card I tried to keep everything quite simple.

I stamped the outlines of the Dahlia three times. For two of them I used some blue shades and for the last one some orange shades. Also never forget to start with the lightest color, otherwise you can’t see the different shadows on the flower. I arranged my Dahlias on the left bottom corner and added some leaves on the sides.

To finish my card I stamped the sentiment From Me to You with black ink and adhere my panel onto a a light blue panel leaving a little frame.
