Altenew Build-A-Flower: Bearded Iris Release Blog Hop + Giveaway
Hello my crafty friends, how are you all doing? I’m so happy to be part of this amazing new Altenew Build A Flower Bearded Iris release.
If you are looking for the most elegant and realistic iris, you are in the right place! This stamp set prominently features a gorgeous bearded iris outline with four additional coloring layers, along with its stems and leaves. You may use the other iris outline as background foliage, or simply add it to floral arrangements stamped as is or colored in with your favorite coloring medium.
You will find all the products linked below as well as a full Blog Hop line up.

To create this beautiful and simple card I did cut down a A2 card panel out of white cardstock.
Then I used the Garden Trellis Cover Die (which I totally love) and die cut it three times out of white cardstock to create some dimension. I then adhere it onto my white card panel using some Altenew 2 in 1 precision liquide glue.
Altenew makes it so easy to create some beautiful flowers using the layering Build A Flower stamps. You just need to choose the inks you want to use and you will see on the package which stamp you have to use first. Of course the easiest way is to start with the lightest color and end it up with the darkest one. Otherwise you will not see the layering that well. For my Iris I used some green and red/orange shades as well as some gold embossing powder to give it some shine.
To adhere the Iris I used some Altenew Foam Tape also to give it some dimension.
I finished my card with a gold on black sentiment also using gold embossing powder and some foam tape to adhere it.
And that’s it, a very simple card but with the Layering Iris Stamp it looks elegant and special.
I hope you guys like it.
