Waffleflower Weekly Challenge
Hello my crafty friends and welcome to my creative blog. Today I will show you how I made this beautiful bouquet card for the WaffleFlower Weekly Challenge.
I had so many ideas for this challenge as the theme Leaves/Greenery gives you so much space to work with. But when I saw the XOXO Set I just fall in love and had to use it for this amazing challenge. I tried to create my own bouquet and now it seems like the whole card ended up as one. I used some pastel inks and of course some soft greens for this card. It makes me feel like spring is almost around the corner and I love when you see all the flowers bloom and the sun is coming out, it just makes me happy. I also used the Blanket Stitch Layers Die in two different sizes, that way I had some dimension and I could tuck all the leaves just around the smaller layer. I hope you guys like it.
You will find all the products linked below (affiliate links means no extra cost for you) I have also add a short video (Instagram Reel) that way you can see in just 30 seconds how I created this card.
So enough said, let’s jump over to the step by step.

The first thing I started with, was stamping all the leaves and flowers for my card. For the leaves I used a littler and a darker green from Pinkfresh Studio. That way you create a nice depth. For the flowers and petals I also used Pinkfresh inks in some pastel colors. I did stamp all the images several times as I needed some to create this beautiful bouquet. I used the coordinating dies to die cut all the pieces. I know a lot of people love to fussy cut, but for me there is nothing better then to use the coordinating die, it gives you just the perfect cut and it all looks even.
For my background I used the Blanket Stitch Layers Die. I die cut it from Neenah Classic Crest 110 LB in two different sizes. I really love this beautiful border the die creates. I glued the both layers together using just a bit of liquide glue, that way I could tuck all the leaves and flowers around the smallest boarder.
To arrange the bouquet I started by layering first the large leaves and then the flowers on top. It looks like the leaves are growing out from the big two flowers I used right in the middle. I also used a bit of foam tape under the blue and rose petals, cause I did not want them to warp just at the bottom as you get some dimension when you layer all the images together.
Last but not least I heat embossed the sentiment For You from the set Classic Sentiments in Gold. I really love the gold between all the beautiful pastel colors.
And thats it my crafty friends, I really hope you like it and don’t forget to play along and enter your projects on the Waffleflower Garden Fan Page on Instagram and of course on the Waffleflower Hompage.
