Happy Birthday Card with My Favorite Things

Hello my crafty friends, and welcome to a new blog post.

Today I’am showing you how I made this easy Birthday Card using some MFT products which you will find linked below.

It would be also possible to mass-produce this card as it is very simple but looks great.

So let’s get over to how I made it.

I started by cutting a piece of white cardstock down to an A2 size card panel. I then used the Oval Stencil from MFT to create the background. I used my blending brushes and the color Aquamarin from Pinkfresh to ink blend the oval space. After that I added some gold watercolor splashes using a fine brush (try to do this in a box as you will have watercolor everywhere).

The sentiment is stamped in black and then heat embossed with WOW! Clear Embossing Powder to give it some shine.

Now that the background was done I stamped the Cake and the Cakeplate from this set on a piece of white cardstock and used my Triblend Marker from Spectrum Noir to color it.

To cut the images I used the coordinating dies, you could also fussy cut it but I’m just not good at it (laughing).

I also did trim all the sides using the Tim Holtz Torn Edge Trimmer.

Last but not least I just had to adhere the two images using some Gina K Connect Glue onto my card panel and adhere the panel onto a piece of teal/aquamarine cardstock leaving a small border.

And thats it my crafty friends, a very easy birthday card. I really like how it looks its simple but fun.

So I hope you guys like it and I wish all of you a wonderful week and stay safe and healthy.
