Rainbow Butterflies| My Favorite Things

Hello my crafty friends,

I’m happy to show you this great rainbow butterfly card. I have to say I not only love gnomes, I also love butterflies and mixed with rainbow colors even more.

Of course you will find all the products linked below (affiliate links so no extra cost for you).

So enough said let’s jump over to the step by step for this colorful card.

I started by stamping the butterflies on a piece of white cardstock. In this great set by MFT, the butterflies are divided into three or four parts. I first stamped the upper part of the wings with a darker color and then the lower part with a lighter color. Pinkfresh Studio Inks for this. In total, I used 12 different tones to make the butterfly look colorful.

I then stamped the wing pattern as well as the body of the butterfly with black ink so that way you can see the butterflies on the colorful background.

After I had finished stamping and die cut out all the butterflies, I started with the background.

For this I used the stencil Wonky Dots from My Favorite Things. This is actually not for slimline cards, so you simply have to move the stencil twice and not fade over the edges.

Now stick some foam tape on the back of the butterflies and heat set a sentiment with some gold embossing powder and stick everything on the background panel and of course in rainbow order.

And that’s it my crafty friends, everything always looks so difficult, but it’s not and it’s simple and done super fast.

I wish you all of you a wonderful day and stay safe and healthy
