Valentine Cards | Simon Says Stamp
Hello my crafty friends and happy Monday. Today I’am back on my blog showing you this three valentine cards I made using this super cute Stamp Set from Simon Says Stamp.
First of all I would like to let you know all the products I have used for this cards:
Simon Says Stamps And Dies PAWSOME LOVE set
Simon Says Stamp STITCHED RECTANGLES Wafer Dies
Simon Says Stamp Stencil LARGE DOTS
Spectrum Noir BRUSH 24 PACK TriBlend Marker
Tsukineko VersaFine ONYX BLACK Ink Pad
3M Scotch DOUBLE-SIDED FOAM TAPE Permanent

First I started by creating all the backgrounds. Therefor I did cut 3 panels of heavyweight cardstock down to 5 1/2 and 4 1/4. For the first background I used the color Poppy. I fixed the stencil just with some purple tape, that way the paper does not move. For my second card I used the color Oceanside and for the rainbow card Poppy / Marmalade / Buttercup / Clover and Oceanside. So the backgrounds were done very fast.
Now it was time to stamp the cute dog and cat on a piece of white cardstock using VersaFine Onyx Black Ink. To color all the images I used my Spectrum Noir Triblend Marker. For me they make it so easy to color out the images and blend the colors.
After I had everything colored I used the coordinating dies to cut all the images out. I really love to use coordinating dies, that way you get a perfect cut.
To create the frames for two of the cards I used two of the Stitched Rectangles Frames and fixed them also with a piece of purple tape and then run it through my die cut machine. I did this twice as I wanted to have to frames. On one of the cards I used foam tape to adhere the frame, that way I had some dimension. For the other frame I used Gina K liquide glue.
For the rainbow card I used both of the inner parts from when I die cut the frames and glued them together.

Now I did adhere all my images onto the cards. For the two floating cards I used foam tape and for the couple (cat and dog) I used liquide glue as I already had dimension on the frame.
Last but not least I did stamp the sentiments with black ink on white paper (at least two of them) and used the coordinating dies to cut them. On the rainbow one I did just stamp it directly on the panel.
And that’s it my crafty friends, three very simple and cute cards for your valentine love.
I hope you like them and I would love if you leave me a comment in the section below. I wish you all a wonderful day and I hope to see you soon up here on my blog.
