Now let’s jump over to the card I made for this blog hop.

For this card I used this beautiful Stamp Set from Paper Roses called „Sketchy Handpicked Bouquet„
The first time I saw this stamp I thought about using my Karin Markers and do some watercoloring. And of course that’s what I did, also need to say that it was my first time using this Markers and I’am happy how it turn out.

I started by stamping the bouquet with WOW! Embossing ink on a piece of watercolor paper. You have to stamp it like two or three times to get a good coverage as the paper got a lot of structure and its not that smooth like white cardstock. I then sprinkled some Opaque Bright White WOW! Embossing powder over it and heat embossed it with my WOW! Embossing heat gun (I have to say that’s one of the best heat guns I have ever use and I’am not saying cause I’am part of the DT).
Now it was time to use the Karin Markers. I started to color all the petals going from darkest to lightest. I just added some color on the edges and smooth the color out using a fine brush and some water. The embossing really helped to color everything out, as the color stays right at the lines even if you add some water.
For the background I added the color right at the edges and used enough water to smooth it out right to the image. To get some shadows I also added some color around the bouquet and also under the vase.
After everything was dry, I added some more color on some spots to get some dimension and a brighter look.
To finish the card I stamped the sentiment right on the vase using some Versafine black ink and sprinkled some clear embossing powder over it to get some shine.

And that’s all my crafty friends , hope you liked the card I made for this great Blog Hop.
Don’t forget to leave a comment in the COMMENT SECTION below for a chance to win a $25.00 gift card. Good luck and have fun hopping along with us for more inspiration projects as well as more chances to win.
Winners will be chosen randomly and announced on Thursday November 19th on both the WOW! Embossing Powder and Paper Rose Studio Blog
