Now its time to show you the two cards I made using all the beautiful stamps / dies and powders from this amazing companys.

First I will write you down all the products I have used for this shiny slimline card:

WOW Embossing Powders: Iced Teal, The Real Teal,Gilded and Opaque Bright White. I also used the WOW! Embossing Ink and WOW! Embossing Heat Tool.

Catherine Pooler: Alpine Village Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies. And the following Inks: Rose Petals, Stone Blue and Juniper Mist.

And now I will tell you how I made this card.

I started by creating the background of the card. First I cut a piece of heavyweight white cardstock down to a 3 5/8 x 8 5/8 card panel. I used a piece of purple tape to creat two different layer of colors without blending them together.

I started by adding the color Rose Petals at the bottom part of the card. I had to go over it like three or four times to get a good cover, as the color is very light and I wanted it to be a bit darker and brighter.

For the sky I used the lightes color Stone Blue first and then I went over the edges with the darkest one Juniper Mist, to create a bit of dimension.

To get even more shine on the background I spritzed a bit of shimmer spray over the whole panel.

To create the shiny and bright houses I stamped them all using WOW! Embossing Ink on a piece of white cardstock. I then sprinkled the embossing powders (I used three different ones) over them and heat embossed till the embossing powder was completely melted and shiny. I really love this new color trio.

To adhere them on my card panel I used some foam tape for the three in the front and for the ones on the back I used some Gina K liquide glue.

To finish this card I stamped the sentiment „Hello Winter“ also from the Catherine Pooler „Alpine Village“ set with embossing ink and heat embossed it in white.

And that’s it for the first one, it is a very simple and easy card but with a lot of shine.

Now let’s jump over to the second christmas card I made for this hop.

I will also start by showing you all the products I have used to creat this cute christmas card.

WOW! Embossing: Opaque Bright White, White Puff and Metallic Silver.I also used the WOW! Embossing Ink and WOW! Embossing Heat Tool.

Catherine Pooler Inks: It’s a Boy and Something Borrowed.

Heffy Doodle:Wanna Build a Snowman Stamp set and the First Snow Stencil.

For this card I started by stamping all the images with black ink on a piece of white cardstock. To color them out I used some Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend Markers ( I really like them, its so easy to blend the colours). After everything was colored , I fussy cut all the images as I did not had the coordinating dies. But there are also the dies for this set which you can also find right here.

I also used some Metallic Silver Powder for the christmas tree garland as I wanted to give it some shine.

To create the background I ink blended everything with the lightest color It’s a boy and then I just went over with the darkest one Something Borrowed. It’s almost the same like on the first card, that way you can leave some light color in the middle and it give it some dimension. I really like bright blue backgrounds for christmas cards.

I then used the First Snow stencil to create some snowflakes on the blue background using some white ink.

To create the snow hills I also used the First Snow Stencil. I just traced the the line of the hills part with a pencil, so that I know where to cut. After cutting this piece with a scissors I used the WOW! Embossing Ink and just pushed it all over the paper. I then sprinkled some White Puff (it leaves a great texture on the paper so it look like real snow) and heat embossed it with my WOW! Embossing heat gun.

Now its time to adhere all the pieces onto the blue background and create a fun and nice Christmas scene.

To finish the card I heat embossed the sentiment „Winter Wonderland“ just right on the top of the card using some Opaque Bright White embossing powder. ( I’m so obsessed with this powder).

And that’s it my crafty friends.
